No.1208345
>>1208341I'm downstairs on a laptop, given the living room is cooler than my bedroom. I tried to get some sleep, but couldn't get any.
Since I was out of bottled water, I had to wait until the only shop I know that opens at 6am to be open. I got there a bit early and met some fat guy doing what I think were "sun salutes" to the four directions. While waiting for the store, he introduced himself as "Dave the Creator".
He claimed to have created one-hundred-twenty-something universes, and offered me his business card for his website which I declined. I politely and humbly said "Thank you for your efforts in creation" all the while the shop was just opening up. When he said "Do you think I'm joking?" in which I pretended I didn't hear him and entered the shop.
Awkwardly, he followed me into the shop, claiming he had colourful wings. Given he was just behind me at the cold drinks aisle I was hoping he had no intentions in following me. Thankfully he brought whatever he wanted and leave and I didn't encounter him on the way back.
I'm just... so tired.

Somehow I can still sleep with the fan on.
But indoor is hitting 30°C with curtains drawn, cooler on and doing as much as possible to keep heat out.
Luckilly it will shift after the weekend.
As this unit is rental, I can't decide to install A/C on my own.

I had a feeling the first was just teaser for upcoming attractions, and I was right.
I don't want summers to be like this for me any more.

y'all makin me wonder if europe will adopt air conditioning on a mass scale
like how long will people take that heat without somethin bein done?
No.1208406
>>1208404>>1208404>Diives>IYKYKMaybe. At least around here, homes are made to HOLD heat precisely because we are not used to things being so damn hot.
But this has been an unusualy hot summer and even then it's mainly been these few days. Highly unlikely that'll lead to truly massive change very soon
